IPRS Mediquipe - Training
IPRS Biodex User Training
The IPRS Biodex User day was developed to provide users with a way of developing their working knowledge of the Biodex Isokinetic System. As a means of providing continual assistance, IPRS are able to offer additional support. Please find details of these options below:
Hands-off training
This format of support, which runs for half a day, is based on the needs of clinical staff. This training is done in a setting without patient involvement, where the IPRS clinical trainer presents the educational session to a group of participating clinicians. The session typically incorporates theoretical and practical components, for example; data interpretation, isomap and specifics, such as prone knee flexion testing.
This training focusses on helping the clinicians maximise the potential use of the system within their specific environment. At the same time, the session is structured to be interactive with the ability to divert from the agreed agenda, so as to permit maximal benefit for the clinicians within the available time.
Hands-on training
IPRS have realised that you may benefit in having an IPRS clinician on-site for a day, in order for the training session to be part of a real-life environment. This may allow the user to develop their working knowledge of the system whilst applying it immediately to real-life patients.
Through appropriate time management, the clinical day can be developed around specific patients and can incorporate a pre-session discussion regarding a particular case and then, if appropriate, a further post test discussion.
If preferred, IPRS would be happy to work with a specific patient, with the treating clinician and have fellow users oversee the session (provided all patient consent issues are resolved).
For maximum benefit, this approach is offered over the course of 1 full day.
