Biodex equipment
Biodex equipment will assess, train and rehabilitate patients with balance, proprioception,
core stability, postural stability and gait weaknesses. Biodex operate an integrated
approach creating systems which assess and rehabilitate balance, gait and strength.
Ideally this equipment would be used by any falls prevention programme, to screen
all people considered to be a potential ‘faller’, as it will be able
to give a good indication of how likely they are to fall, possible areas of weakness,
and exercises to strengthen these areas.
